Porsche 356 T1 V-Shape Sunroof - 1956
Very rare 356 A T1 V-Shape Sunroof. Only 127 A models were delivered with the V Shaped sunroof.
German first delivery
Very attractive color scheme: Lago Grün metallic 5605 B with a Beige interior
Needs restoration but a solid base
This very limited produced 356 was sold new by Ernst Islinger Mannheim and used as a Vorfuhrwagen. In 1962 it was sold to an US soldier from Heidelberg Germany who exported it to California. It still wears the black plates. Last owner had it last registered in 1992.
Sunroof coupes are most of the times very rusty. This one is beside the normal 356 rustspots solid. Floors and batterybox are still original but need to be replaced. The hood and rear decklid are still matching. You can see the Lago green color coming through the primer here and there. And very little accident in the front is poorly repaired. Gaps are nice.
All complete but needs work. The seats were covered. Original seat upholstery is still there and actually in quite a good condition. Can be used if you like to keep it original. Gauges are in metric. Km/h tacho and a “Kraffstoff” meter are still original.
The 1600 616/1 engine is matching and turns freely by hand. Looks like it can be made running easily.
The car is complete beside one bumper.
This very limited produced 356 is a perfect candidate for a condours winning 356.The rare color and the sunroof makes it really special.
All EU taxes are paid and it comes with an clear CA title.
