Unfortunetaly there is not more history with it.
Body and paint:
This Targa has a very solid body. No signs of any major accidents and no rust. Original floors. Only the front panel behind the front bumper is once replaced. No signs of any damage.
The only minus is that probably somewhere in the eighties the car was converted in a wide body. De original rear fenders were made wide. They welded wider wheel arches on the standard fenders. Like they did it at the factory for a Turbo or a M491 wide body. The front wings were replaced for steel wide body versions.
The door gaps and other panel fittings are good.
The original color signal orange makes it really a special car.
The car was repainted when converted into a wide body. The orange is slightly darker than it should be. Decent paint.
Floors are painted black. The orange comes trough everywhere. I am pretty sure the with ice blasting the underside will be like new.
The interior is untouched. Original seats with original upholstery. Should be stitched at a few places but absolute usable. Carpet is good. Original doorcards with the correct doorpockets. Beside the added speaker holes all original. Correct MFI Carrera steering wheel. Period correct radio.
No dash cracks. With some effort it will be easy to make it a very nice, all original interior.
Very nice targatop. Fits very good.
Period correct Gotti wheels. It gives the car a bit a Magnus Walker look. Wide Fuchs can be added for €2800,-
The famous 911/83 runs amazing. No smoking, rattling and has good oil pressure.
No excessive oil leaks. All original optics.
Matching numbers. even with the original exhaust system this engine makes really a fantastic sound.
The gearbox shifts good. No excessive leaks.
This unique piece of Porsche history comes with:
This is the ultimate chance to own the famous MFI for reasonable price. Price is firm no trade ins.
