D’ieteren Brussels built and delivered
1961 356 BT5 1600 Roadster
Matching numbers
Lovely original color combination
For restoration

Factory colors:
Aetna Blue
Red leather interior

History:
This Roadster was delivered new by D’ieteren Brussels. After a short while it was exported to the US. Max Hoffman sold it to Mr. Jonathon Nahon in New York. At the certain time the car went to California. That is were we found it.

Body:
This Roadster has the common rust issues. Floors, rockers and all the other standard 356 repairs. Some work on the front wings and were the convertible top is attached have some rust issues. The good thing is that it is all still original. No signs of any major accidents. Most panels still are still original paint.
Perfect gaps all around because of all matching numbers panels.

Interior:
The interior is mostly complete beside the hinges of the seats. Needs complete restoration of course.

Engine:
The matching numbers engine turns freely by hand. Correct carburators etc.

A lot of 356’s were restored in the eighties. Off course they are more expensive and they look better than this one but in the end if you want to make it perfect the work/investment is the same.

This 356 comes with:
Kardex
Us Title EU taxes paid
